LoriPhil Posted August 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 18, 2007 New question - is there a "best" month weather-wise for the Panama Canal partial (round trip from FLL, Aruba, Cartagena, Panama Canal, Costa Rica, Jamica)? We've booked in February, but are seeing lots of activity for earlier cruises and are wondering if earlier months might be better. I posted an earlier thread asking about rain in February, and received very helpful information about the humidity, sun etc for that time of year, but realized we needed to better understand the weather trends in this part of the world before determining if we want to book an earlier cruise. Of course when you're near the equator it's bound to be warn and humid most of the time! Thanks for your opinions!
Druke I Posted August 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 18, 2007 You are somewhat limited - to what ships on that itinerary and when. There is not really that much difference in weather - it is equatorial!

January was nice although it was still hot but not as bad as it gets later in the year. Just bring raingear as you never know when you will get a downpour at any time of the year. Rare YoPhilly Posted August 19, 2007 #4 Share Posted August 19, 2007 We did the partial transit in November and the weather was great in every port. But of course....no guarantees.
