CruisnCutie Posted August 24, 2004 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2004 I also post this question under Carnival, hoping for some help:) . I was just checking rates, and for not much more I can get a OV Guarantee. Sounds like a good deal to me. BUT! The thing that concerns me , is, I know space is limited for quad cabins. What's the chance they would run out of OV's for 5? If I book an OV Guarantee they would have to honor, right? What would be the worst case? Is this a silly question? Am I worrying for nothing? I should book the OV , right?????????????
serene56 Posted August 25, 2004 #2 Share Posted August 25, 2004 Well, no cabin holds five so you will be looking at quad cabins. I really dont see them putting you into a cabin that holds three with 2 rollaways. I also see there are 12 cabins on each floor that will hold all 5 of you. How far out is your cruise? If you do book a gaurantee oceanview--thats what you will get- they will not downgrade you to an inside cabin. (I wonder if they will allow you to book a gauaratee for 5 in a cabin. Serene, Thank you for answering:) . Yes, I can book a gauaratee for 5 in a cabin. I was just wondering what would be the worst location I could get? There are a lot of quad cabins left. We would get a twin rollaway. I'm not to worried about all in one cabin , my kids are small. I guess it couldn't be to bad? ;)
serene56 Posted August 26, 2004 #4 Share Posted August 26, 2004 Its not to bad--i did 5 in a cabin on the Sensation and my youngest was 15- all boys who stood over 6 feet tall. I dont see any bad cabins on a cruise ship-- sure beats a room at home or work. Seems all the quads are in the middle of the ship which is a good place in case you get motion sickness.
