Anchorage trolley tour

Has anyone taken this tour? Is it worthwhile? Looks like an easy tour to take to see some of Anchorage...Do you agree?

Yes it is worthwhile for a good overview. Also consider the downtown walking tour. Free map in the Anchorage visitor guide. Get a copy.

We did this tour last June, cheap at $10pp, driver was very nice and gave an informative narrative. I thought it was worthwhile, especially since we didn't have a car to drive ourselves around.

Walk across the road before or after the tour, the government building is also very interesting.

That was one of our options for Anchorage since we will only have a couple of hours.Is the dinner theater any good,or should we just make reservations in one of the restaurants.We will be there on Father's Day?
