Stoodo Posted August 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I miss hearing the sound of the Sea Pass when you enter or leave the ship. Does anyone by chance have a sound clip of this? I want to use it for the sound when someone sends me a text message. Thanks.
Sea Island Lady Posted August 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted August 24, 2007 There have been several threads on here about the sound. try doing a search. I don't think one was ever found, though.

prc Posted August 24, 2007 #5 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I miss hearing the sound of the Sea Pass when you enter or leave the ship. Does anyone by chance have a sound clip of this? I want to use it for the sound when someone sends me a text message. Thanks. Last month on our Rhapsody trip, I actually recorded that, as well as some other sounds, for our friends who produce the "CrownCast" podcasts. I did not keep a copy for myself, but if you go over there they will probably help you out. Just add a ".org" to the previous "". Interesting note...the I never realized it until I recorded them, but the getting off sound is different than the getting aboard sound! Merion_Mom Posted August 24, 2007 #6 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I'm sorry - it's not a "bong", it's a "ding". :D
enzeno Posted August 24, 2007 #7 Share Posted August 24, 2007 I am not sure if its the same or not, but being a computer geek I always thought it was the old school DING from Windows 3.1. Which it in some form is the same today on most Windows XP machines.. Try searching for DING.WAV, it was on my machine. The only thing is that this is a much higher quality, with an echo, etc etc, from the original Windows 3.1. I do remember the sound well though.. :-) For what its worth...
