Last day of school for 2004/2005 season

We are planning a cruise for May 2005 (yippee) and from what I know, most of Florida schools are out before Memorial Day weekend (specifically 5/21) We have 3 children and hoping that some children from this area or from any part of the country will be out of school by that time and hopefully cruising:D

May 26th is the last day of school for our kids here. I just checked their planner that they just got!! :)

Well, no, because we want to do the western route since we did the eastern route last time. May 28th, Caribbean Princess is going eastern. Right now I have cabins on hold for May 7 and May 21st, was leaning more towards the 21st thinking there may be more kids out of school by then. We'll see.......

I believe the public schools in Broward County end the first week of June...the 2nd. Palm Beach and Dade I think get out the week prior since they started a week before Broward County this year.

Roe, I do think you will find kids though. Many parents take kids out early down here, once the semester end, and sends home, or wherever, the report cards. Many may be cruising!! :)

The schools here in Ontario finish the last week of June and return after Labour Day in September.

We get out of school June 2nd.

In our area, public schools get out the middle of May, and have been for the last few years. This year, they began school on Aug. 2. It all really depends on where you live. That's one reason why "Spring Break" can go from mid-Feb. through April. Just depends.

Since this time we are taking the kids, the PC dining is even a bigger plus. So Caribbean Princess it is. I have been having lots of fun do the planning!

Hey...Pinellas County schools (Tampa Bay Area) are out May 17, and we are booked on the Carnival Miracle on May 22. I think that you will see quite a few kids that week. It is also cheaper than the next week over Mem.Day!
