Nile river cruise with a child?

Hello everyone,

 

We would like to take a Nile cruise with our 9yo, we're in our late 30s, enjoy seeing the world and Carnival cruises. Someone suggested Grand Circle, but they don't take kids. Someone else suggested Thompson cruises, but I can't find anything about it here. Any tips? Thanks!

I went on a tour of Egypt in 2000 with Trafalgar Tours. The tour included a 4-night cruise down the Nile. I would suggest doing the Nile cruise as part of a tour. It will be much less stressful, especially with kids. Egypt is not like going to a country in Europe, which most you can do on your own. Check them out. It was a very enjoyable tour. They had kids on the tour also

They are $$$$$. I realized that I won't be using them anytime soon.
