Celebrity transfer or cab??

I need to decide how we will get to the Seattle airport after our cruise on 9/21. There are 5 of us. Our flight is scheduled to leave at 12:20 PM. Should we use the Celebrity transfer ($18 p/p) or catch a couple of cabs??

 

Also, will we be told when we can leave the ship (at an appointed time) or can we leave on our own at any time??

Cabs should be cheaper - not sure which; line for cab or wait for bus to fill is lesser of 2 evils. Typically you're assigned a time to disembark - but usually feels like a free-for-all to me.
