Kodak Film

for those who still use film...which is better, Kodak Gold or Kodak Max? I know high definition is probably the best option, but I have a gift cert. for a store that doesn't carry the high def. if there is a big difference between Gold, or Max, or High Definition...I'd rather pay and get the High Definition. input would be appreciated :)

For Alaska in particular, I'd go for the Fuji Superia over the Kodak Gold because the blues and greens are more vibrant (almost artificial, some will argue). Of course, the end result (the print) can be shifted substantially by the printer (take them to Wal*Mart to see what a waste of money good film can seem to be!), but the vibrant colours are Fuji's tendency.
