Hotel ? for anyone from Baltimore

Doing some research for our cruise that will leave from Baltimore. Have Hilton points to use. What can you tell me about the Homewood Suites on South President St. Will not accept reservations till after Sept. 17. Is it new or remodeled??? Would you stay there? We will be in Baltimore for one night. Would like to do the Duck Tour and go out to eat. Then will be leaving the next day on a cruise. Will be flying so no car or parking issues. This or any other suggestions appreciated!!!

Sure, I'd stay there. It's a brand new hotel in Inner Harbor East, surrounded by high end real estate. It should be very nice!

Just looked at the site and the furthest date on the drop down list is September, 2008. I see that you need October. Most likely, next month will have October, 2008. Enjoy!

Thank you! Going to try and get the early flight so we can enjoy the day in Baltimore. Thinking of doing the duck tour. Also going to look for a nice place for supper. Thank you for all your help!! If you have any suggestions please send them my way....hard to find a lot of info on Baltimore.

Here's tons of info on Baltimore, most is within walking distance of your hotel. You can also take a water taxi to Fort McHenry, if you're looking for any historical adventures.
