Galveston Transportation question

Sorry if this has been asked before. We will be cruising out of Galveston next spring. What is the best way to get to and from the Houston airport. I would assume a taxi would be quite expensive. Thanks

Just my wife and myself. Any suggestions, or advice, would be greatly appreciated

If you are comming in day of departure, book thru cruise line. If comming in a day or two early, use a limousine service. (Scheduled there are two or three)

In May of 2007 we arrived at Bush International and used Galveston Limo which transported us via a mini-bus to our hotel in Galveston. After the cruise they had reps holding up signs that directed you to waiting buses to return to the airport. Good service, we would use them again.

Jose Reyes, private driver, we used him this past Spring. Very nice, professional. Found him here on these boards. His company is South Houston Limo, 713-303-8299....713-416-6652. He picked us up at Hobby to Galveston, $100 each way for 4. He actually provides transfers for Springhill Suites and couple of other hotels when requested. I called them also before we used him for reference. Enjoy.

I too recommend Jose. He's absolutely fabulous, a perfect gentleman. His vehicles are clean and comfortable, and he provides a nice commentary on the ride.
