haligonian37 Posted September 10, 2007 #130 Share Posted September 10, 2007
Whenever I hear someone say this I'm reminded of the story of the dinner guest who told his hostess "That was a wonderful meal. What kind of pots and pans do you use?" In other words, the type of camera is the least important part of a great photo. :D
My intention wasn't to find out who had the "best" or "worst" camera. I was being overly curious as I did research previous to buying my new camera and was hoping to strike up some convos re specs and such....maybe even find someone with the same model and get some tips. With a few exceptions (digital zoom and stabilization) my old Kodak took just as good pictures as my new Canon, despite me being the operator. :) Keep the pics comin' guys! And, yes ... she does ... but it's a TIGHT fit. :) I have more pictures showing how little clearance there is between the side of the ship and the side of the canal in my photo gallery from my Panama Canal Cruise aboard the Zaandam in 2004. Take a look (link to my photo galleries is below).
