Best Beach for waves...

We leave a week from today and I'd love to find a beach that has some great waves - I love to swim in the waves!

most beaches are on the south shore and usually the wind comes from a southerly direction, which beach has the biggest waves depends on if the wind is south-west, south-east etc.

Just returned from a one day stop in Bermuda. We went to Horseshoe Bay thinking we would snorkel. Too much waves and turbulence for snorkeling. Saw some small fish in the cove, but we were so impressed with the view and beach we didn't care about snorkeling.

Don't know if it has the best waves, but we really enjoyed it!

Church Bay was great for swimming in the waves the first week of Sept. :)

Not good for snorkeling. :)

The South Shore beaches always seem to have waves. Horseshoe Beach would be a cgood choice for waves.

And so would Warwick Beach be a good choice for waves. IF you plan on a bus pass, you could easily stop at all 3 above mentioned beaches and pick the one you like best. From east to west, they go, Warwick, Horseshoe, Church.
