THey are light and rubbery like crocs. They are made of the same thing or something very similar.

With the mules, do your feet get hot and sweaty, or is it better to stick with the sandal type shoes?

I don't know...I only tried on the sandals and the flip flops. Good question though.

Furkidsmom, I ordered the black mules with the grosgrain ribbon. I was wondering if they would be hot on the feet, guess I'll find out when they get here. Now I have to figure out exactly what I'm packing for our cruise in January so I can decide what pair to buy next!

No, my black ones are very comfortable and don't get sticky. The black ribbon can come out, and you can tie another color or plaid one on, if you want a different look. I haven't tried it, though...

I'm in Florida so I hope they aren't warm! I got a nice email from the company. I asked them if there was a retail store near my where I could try them on. Unfortunately, there isn't any within 50 miles of me :( Guess I'll just have to bite the bullet and order!!:D

My mules came today, and they are darling! I only tried them on, didn't wear them yet, but they seem quite comfy. I'm going to wear them tomorrow night when we meet friends for dinner, will let you know how they are after that.

How do the sizes run? I am a size 6 and I see the range is 5-1/2 - 6-1/2.
