39august Posted September 17, 2007 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2007 I just saw this excursion for our Oct. 14 cruise. Has anyone tried it yet? If so, what did you think? The excursion time is posted as 5 hours. With a ride to El Cedral village and the Punta Sur lighthouse and "ruins", that should take around 2.5 hours. The excursion says it is a trip "around" the island and mentions a place called Rasta Bar. I am hoping that bar is on the "other" (eastern) side of the island. I love going to that side. Does anyone know where the Rasta Bar is? I have never seen it mentioned on the Cozumel board, but I will ask over there as well. The only places on the east side that I know of are Mescalitos and Coconuts. There used to be a Punta Moreles, but I think that place is gone. My husband would probably love this ride, as he is a big Harley fan. I don't want to go unless I can be assured I willl see the east side of the island. I didn't notice the date of original op. My bad. you will see the east side of the island, where the Rasta bar is located along the sea. Great Mexican food, btw, included in the tour. I posted about the tour elsewhere so search my posts for that and jdm8198's comments, too.
