Does anyone recall 1) what year Enchantment was stretched and 2) what year Voyager started sailing from Cape Liberty?

I'll take a stab, I think Voyager started sailing from there in 2004. I went on it in 2005 and I think it had done one summer before that. The Enchantment, not sure, thinking it was 2005 (didn't it sail from Cape Liberty too?).

The Enchantment was stretched on April 1st 2005 and the Maiden Voyage November 21, 1999 for the Voyager

I sailed on 1 Night Cruise on Enchantment in July of 1995.

Yes, it was the only ship to be stretched, but I read somewhere the Grandeur is maybe going to have it 2008. I beleive Voyager sailed out of Cape Liberty in 2004, but 2005 for sure.

A couple of NCL ships were stretched.

I didn't know NCL stretched some ships too.

We cruised on the Voyager out of Bayonne in the summer of 2004, so it was definitely going on then! Also did the Enchantment immediately post-stretch, sailing out of PHILADELPHIA in summer of 2005. :)

 

Interestingly, those two cruises BOTH went to Canada/New England, although the Voyager was a 5 day and the Enchantment a 7 day.

 

Splurged on a GS on the Enchantment, since I raked in automatic savings of three airfares!

I had to answer the Enchantment question while taking part in a team trivia contest on the ship in Febuary of 2006. It was a 3 way tie, and one person from each team had to go up. The team of the first person to answer the question correctly would win.

I won our team some fairly cheessy luggage tags and keychains, but the bragging rights are priceless. :p
