All Things Miracle!!!!

I have registered with Ocean Players to tell them when I'm sailing. Maybe they'll greet me with a drink this time. I figured it was worth a try.

I tried to register with Ocean Players like you had done but not sure if it really was submited. What happens when you hit submit? After filling it out and hitting submit the screen flashed and then it looked the same.

I don't remember, exactly. I didn't know if I had a OP number, so I put in the 9s that they said to use on the form. I did get an email from them...

Thanks for contacting the Ocean Players Club!

We're glad to hear your sailing again! We have placed you on our OPC guest list for your upcoming sailing. Hope you have a great cruise, and the best of luck while spending time in the Casino.

HI everyone, for those requesting casino info, here it is. When you first enter the casino, you put your Sail and Sign card into any slot machine. I believe you first push the "Debit acct" button, which will enable you to enter a pin number for the first time. You have to remember your pin, since you will use it all the time, whenever you change machines, deposit money into your acct., etc.

After using your pin number, insert money(I would use a ten or twenty dollar bill) into the slot machine and play. When you are finished playing that slot and still have money left on the machine, push the "deposit into acct" button, then hit your pin, wait until your credits disappear, then leave. If you go to another machine, insert your Sail and Sign card, push the "Debit Acct" button, hit your pin number, enter how much you want to debit from your acct., and Voila!, your credits will show on the meter. Don't worry if you don't understand the procedure, they will have people there to help.

The first night I went to the casino, I was there maybe 4 fours or so when a host approached. I believe his name was Maurice, very nice guy. He asked if I would like something from the bar, free of charge. I told him I would like the Drink of the day, he called a cocktail waitress over, gave her my order, and she brought it right back to me. I did tip her a buck each drink. Every night after that, if Maurice saw me, he would come over and ask what I was having that night. Sometimes he would hang around making small talk, asking me if I was having a winning night, etc. If I got to the casino and he wasn't around, I would pay for a drink, but most times he found me before the cocktail waitress did!

For every thousand points you put on your card, you will get $10.00 on your Sail and sign card, and its really not hard to do at all. Just get on one of the Wheel of Fortune machines, and watch your points add up!

Any other questions, just ask.

I'm still suffering cruise withdrawal!

Eileen

hi i was on the miracle in oct 06 it was my first cruise and now i`m hooked, after trying the dominican republic in july i didnt settle on land i kept thinking about being on cruise, we have booked a cruise onboard the sea princess, she will have a lot to live up , cause if not its straight back to the miracle, oh and the reason we went for the princess ship is because we couldnt get a 2 week cruise on the carnival line, we had cabin 6327 on the miracle and it was fantastic as were the cabin stewards and all the other crew, just a couple of picys of the miracle,

thanks sandi

the miracle is definately a ship that makes you feel relaxed and special, my daughter was always at camp carnival, we had to go look for her quite a few times, she loved it, she wanted to go right back to the miracle when we mentioned we had booked another cruise, her face fell when we told her it wasnt, the food the cabins the ship and well everything was first class compared to a land holiday, it had a real romantic feel to it even thou we werent expecting it, anyone thinking of trying a cruise and has a fear of the water like me should put their mind at ease its the best and after all when you have worked all year you deserve the best pampering you can get

linda:D :p

chitown cruisers - looking foward to seeing what you have to say about your upcoming cruise. Will you be able to post the Capers?

My only "issue" at all is that we're on a Special cruise, so the Capers won't match for us. Ports are totally different as well.

I'm also interested in hearing how embarkation and debarkation is in Ft. Lauderdale. Haven't sailed from there before.

Do most of the ccl ships have that new fancy bedding including the pillows?

Pillow is about the most important part imo.

Yup Liv as far as I know all the ships have them. The beds are wonderful. I have a really bad back and on the cruise I slept like a baby and didn't wake up in any pain. The pillows were great as well. Nice and plush. :D
