Does anyone know what time the stores close ay port in San Juan?

We want to take advatage of purchasing some boose or wine to bring onboard in our carry on.:confused:

I think it stays open until they stop boarding passengers. If you mean the shops in town near the pier, they probably close about 6. The in town prices are not very good.

They were open before we got onboard. We got back off the ship and got some more from the store right by the security machines & brought back on. I second that the prices in town are definitely marked up for the cruisers. They don't mark the prices on anything - that's how you know there is the turista price and the local price! :-)

The store at the terminal has marlboros for $17-$18 $45 plus here..Rum was maybe $6-$10 for what costs $20 or more here............Don't know there hours thogh........They were doing a BIG bussiness when we boarded at 2:30

Not to be dumb....but when you got on the ship and then back off, how did you get more back on? How did you carry it back on? Also, can you buy beer there and bring it on?
