Picton private tour ideas

We would like to do a Marlborough Sound cruise that includes dolphin watching, etc. Anyone know of a local company on the pier that provides these. Dolphin Watch is one but they are contracted with the ship. The search of this forum came up dry.

Dolphin Watch Eco Tours are the only ones I know of that work out of Picton

Picton is quite a small place so I dont think there will be any more

Why dont you get real real real close and swim with the dolphins on your Napier stop at Marineland.

As mipps said Picton is very small and even if you do find one it may not work out with the time that your ship is in port.

The sail in/out of Picton is very scenic.

I'm not sure how long you are in Christchurch for but you can do some great dolphin cruises from Akaroa, around the Banks Peninsula from Lyttleton. You can swim with them there as well
