CDC and Rotterdam

Just wondering if anyone knows why Rotterdam has not had an inspection since March 2005. All the other HAL ships have been listed. :confused:

The Rotterdam hasn't been to a US port since March 2005. She's been cruising in Europe and South America.

I am thinking that the Rotterdam has not been in the U.S. in a long, long time. I don't think she is due back in the U.S., till the Autumn of 2008.

Could it be that the CDC Inspections are for ships that dock in a U.S. port and since the Rotterdam has not been in the U.S. for quite some time that is the reason. I would guess that some of the European countries she has been in do some type of inspection but it would be called something else.

No doubt S7S! We made sailed the TA back to NYC from Europe in 2006, and the crew was well aware that the CDC was standing by as we arrived NYC. Sure enough, lunch for incoming pax was delayed a bit by the CDC inspection. She got a great score IIR.:D
