I have asked this and don't seem to have received a reply. Is there a charge to cash traveler's checks on the ship?

Dear Jeanne,

Welcome on the Cunard Board.

 

There is no charge for cashing in American Express Travelers Checks. I have been doing this on many ships including Cunard Ships.

 

Our last two cruises on the Queen Mary 2, I always cashed all unused parts I have to use on land instead of returning to a bank.

 

On the QM2, you would be going to the Front Deck on Deck 2, Grand Lobby. It is located near the Casino and also Tour Office in the Grand Lobby.

Of course, I was talking about the QE2 & QM2 in the past. I should think that the QV would adopt the same policies of the other ships.

 

You can also call Cunard and check with them about the banking and currency policies established for the Victoria.

 

I truly wish you a great trip. We hope in the coming years they allow the Victoria to come to NYC several times to maybe the caribbean so we may have the opportunity to experience all we are hearing about her.
