Jolly Rogers Pirate Ship

Has anyone done the Pirate ship excursion lately?

We have it booked in about 3 weeks. ===> oooops!

Just wanted to know if you have any tips or what was the most fun.

Can't wait.

Bad News, Deb.

I just spoke to one of the owners,

and Jolly Roger is presently over in St.Vincent(nearby island),

on dry dock, and after dry dock she's off to TRINIDAD

for the rest of her working life.

So, by the time you get here,

your much-anticipated Jolly Roger cruise will be not available,

although I'm sure they'll offer to take you

on their larger (more stable) Harbour Master party vessel,

which is just as much fun, albeit without the romance of the red sails, etc.

(pics to come,soon)

Sorry to break this news to you like this,Debby

but I reckoned it's better we let you know about this ahead of time,

rather than have you arrive here all eager, and then .......

------------------

Maybe some day you'll cruise thru Trinidad, and catch it there.

I know they also sold a Jolly Roger or two to Antigua,

so you might enquire, at that island.

(Every so often they convert a suitable schooner

make it into a Jolly Roger, and then some years later it gets sold on:

that's the general pattern,

you just caught it at a bad time in the cycle...sorreee!)

Hi,Debby

Sorry about the news above but, as I mentioned

if you're booked/paid up for a Jolly Roger cruise

they will give you the equivalent tour..

(minus the red sails romance factor, sorry)

..on Harbour Master, also run by Tall Ships

(same company that owned Jolly Roger until recently).

Attached are a few pics I took today

on my Harbour Master coastal cruise.

that's a big curvy waterslide tied up alongside the boat,there..

it's in the UP position,as shown.

................

Good food for Lunch!

Lotsa room - one helluva long BAR!!

Hope you bring along enough friends to fill all those bar-stools!

It's still slow season,here

so that why it looks a bit deserted.

Actually it was very nice,

because we had less than a hundred people on board,

so there was lots of 'elbow room'

and a good party going up on the sun deck too

as you can see!

here are the pics
