We are planning our first 're-positioning' cruise Apr. 30th. from Ft.Laderdale on what will be our 5th. Voyager. Four days at sea !!

Are there any day activities over and above those on a 'regular' cruise ?

Anyone booked this sailing ?

We crossed Rome to Ft Lauderdale last November on Voyager. We had 8 sea days between Funchal and Ft L. There were so many things to do I could hardly keep up:-

  • Great lecture series - at least three different ones. Best was given by the artist who did the animations for Carl Sagan's series. He was wonderful.
  • Excellent computer classes. I took the advanced Picasa workshop and got a lot out of it
  • I also took the Cordon Bleu course. It was good but not as good as the first one I did in 05.
  • For entertainment - something different every night from shows to concerts. All pretty good. Also the crew put on a "County Fair" on the pool deck where each department had a booth with games. You won tokens by - for example - knocking a cook into the water in the pool! It was great fun and we all loved it.

You will not lack things to do, but if so - there is always the library!!
