Stingray City?

We are wanting to do a private excursion to Stingray City but don't want to go to a seperate snorkel area afterwards (DH afraid the snorkeling will be over the kid's head). Would Coral Gardens or the other snorkel areas very deep?

 

Does anyone know of a place that will do just stingray city and rum point or stingray city and some land based portion.
