sbyczko Posted October 30, 2007 #1 Share Posted October 30, 2007 we are on the May 11-18 Mariner and was looking at flight times from Orlando. how much time would you allow from Port Canaveral to Orlando? the ship gets in at 7am and I am looking at a 12:45 flight from Orlando. would we have enough time. Never flown out of Orlando but it must be a busy airport plus the travel time from Port Canaveral has me a little worried. plus I am lookign at air-trans, never flown w/ them - any recommendations? thanks

MCO recommends you arrive 1 1/2 hours before flight to allow enough time to get through security. Hope that helps.
Lynnees Posted October 30, 2007 #3 Share Posted October 30, 2007 It's less than an hour from Cape Canaveral to Orlando airport. You would be safe with that time. M
reallyitsmema Posted October 30, 2007 #4 Share Posted October 30, 2007 You should be fine with a 12:45 flight. It is about a 45 minute drive from Port Canaveral to MCO. It really all depends if the ship is delayed for some reason getting into port. We were on the Mariner in June and were off the ship and checked in at the airport by 9:30. That being said, we are on the Mariner again next June and are booking a late afternoon flight just in case. :)
