OnVacation11 Posted November 1, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 1, 2007 I have a question for previous Emerald cruisers... One of our favorite spots for a quiet place to read a book is the Promenade deck. On other ships like the Sun and Dawn there were teak chairs/loungers there. I have not seen any in the picures of the Emerald and I was hoping you can tell me if that is true? Thanks. Counting down to Dec. 16th...
Nanatravel Posted November 1, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 1, 2007 The only picture that I have of the Promenade deck (a professional shot purchased on board the Emerald) does not show any lounge chairs. I will ask my DH who often finds relaxing space on deck when we could not use our balcony. Emerald is a lovely ship IMHO. Bon Voyage

BLS Posted November 2, 2007 #4 Share Posted November 2, 2007 Yes, you will find the teak loungers(or at least they took like teak) on the Promenade Deck. We're just off the Emerald's Trasatlantic sailing and often saw folks, relaxing, reading (napping) as we walked around the deck. Hope this helps.
