Looking for a west coast beach

What do you know about Paradise Beach, Brighton Beach, and Brandon’s Beach?

What would be the distance and taxi cost from the cruise ship pier?

Very close by -immediately North of your ship-

visible in fact ..from these beaches.

As you sail into Port, Brighton/Brandons is the very last beach

near to the Flour Mill silos, immediately North of them.

You could walk it, but it's a bit circuitous, and it might be hot

depends on the day,doesn't it.

Paradise is presently a Four Seasons construction site

but Brighton/Brandons(one and the same) are right there..

with Weiser's beach bar at the near end, Malibu at the other.

Taxi fare US$5-10 at the most.

Take the cabs outside the Port's gatehouse

to avoid the pirates inside(from what I've read others say..)

If we understand correctly, the beaches on the west coast are calm whereas those from the south to the east coast have higher waves. Correct? Since we are not planning to snorkel, but just sit in the sand and enjoy the scenery, the waves don't concern us.
