Cruisers- 2 adults, a 5 year old and a 7 year old

Trying to choose between Carnival Glory or Triumph and

Norwegian Sun and

Nav of Sea or Rad of Sea (RCCL)

Just trying for a fairly inexpensive cruise

We've travelled on NOS and Disney Magic

Any pros/cons to the above ships (very interested in info about the kid's programs)

Thanks for your help

Mimi

I base my cruise on price then the itienerary. Do the ships you mentioned go to where you want to go? If not start eliminating. Leaving from certain ports is important too. I would love to do a Southern cruise but airfare to San Juan is so hig-I could take another cruise for that price.

also- check the group cruises board to see if anyting in there is to your interest. SOme are very cheap too.

mimimouse....

I look at the ratings of the crusieline/individual ships.

My research has shown that in general...NCL doesn't get very high ratings.

There is a book available at bookstores...called The Unofficial Guide to Cruises. They have a brand new edition out. It is very, very good. It's about 700 pages...and gives a thorough review of both the cruiselines and the individual ships. I highly recommend the book.

I peek at it often....whenever I am in a bookstore.

My version @ home...is the 2001 version. :(
