Have any airlines added surcharge?

Just wondering if any airlines have added fuel surcharge yet?

Prices went up last week, or the week before .

Not sure but most have bumped up prices $20 or so. Basically the same thing.

I doubt any will add surcharges. It already takes too long to wait in lines and check in bags and go through security now. (Checking in bags is slow at all airports.) Imagine how much longer it would take if every person on every plane had to go to a counter and pay a $5 fuel surcharge??? It would certainly make a lot of people mad.

Most of the majors have had a fuel surcharge built into ticket prices for a while now. While they don't add on another charge for an already purchased ticket, they make up for it by being slow to reduce the surcharge later when the fuel prices drop.
