Serendipity50 Posted November 18, 2007 #1 Share Posted November 18, 2007 Our next cruise is not till Jan 2009, so this increase is not too bad, but I just hope it does not go up anymore or the pound drop against the dollar. As we have the transatlantic flights aswell, which will no doubt have a fuel surcharge by then, which will then make our cheap [ very cheap] $219 cruise seem a tad expensive!! There are four of us going. Jean
firefly333 Posted November 18, 2007 #2 Share Posted November 18, 2007 Congrats on finding a $219 cruise, we here in the U.S. are not as lucky. Not sure, but can you pay off the cruise now if you are worried about the pound dropping against the dollar and avoid what you would lose. Im not a currency expert, but I cant see the dollar continuing to drop much more, its gotta be near bottom now, so I would expect the exchange rate to be worse not better by 2009, but who knows.
