Kilauea is acting up again!

the lava flow is a long way from the sea ... I imagine it would take a while to get back there, if it even chooses to go in that direction going forward. I agree it's a real shame for cruisers, I really did want to see the lava ...

Those of us who live here are hoping that the lava returns to its path to the sea along the paths that it has traveled in the recent past. The new flows that are going in the opposite directions could potentially threaten many, many subdivisions and cut off a good part of the population here on the Hilo side. This new flow action that began in July has many folks around here very concerned. We check the updates and the maps daily....and keep our fingers crossed!!!
