Thinking about doing a B2B and have a couple of questions

My Mom and I are thinking about doing a B2B on the 1st ship we sailed on, the Carnival Imagination. :D I was wondering, what happens inbetween the 2 cruises? Do we have to disembark with the other passengers or can we stay aboard and enjoy having the ship to ourselves? If we have to disembark, are we allowed to leave the port area for the day? We would really like to go and spend the day at Miami Beach. :D I don't think it's far from the Port of Miami. My Aunt would be joining us for one part and she's never cruised before so I'm really excited!! :D

Thanks in Advance!! :D

If you want to get off the ship to go to South Beach, which is the main beach in Miami hot spot, then get off with everyone else.

If you want the least aggravation, you will meet probably near the purser's desk and when everyone else is off they walk you back thru customs and to a desk to get your new sign and sail card and back onto the ship. Once they started walking us off, it only took about 30 minutes.

then you come back onto the ship and have it to yourselves until they start letting folks board. Thats the nicest part :D

Its best to keep the same cabin so you dont have to pack up.

HELLO,,

Yes,you can get off the ship and go to the beach

just let the ship know.....

I am guessing you would check back in at the VIP....

I have been on afew BACK TO BACKs...

Everyone has to get off the ship and

go thru costums...

All ships are different,,Last year on the HOLIDAY

a staff member walked those that was doing a BTB

off the ship together, met with a costums officer.

And then we all walked back on the ship together..

On the Celebration I had to get off the ship and wait

in the VIP lounge and was one of the first to get back

on the ship.........

If you can, book the same cabin for both weeks...

HAPPY CRUISING

I would love to do a B2B - actually would love to do a B2B with and extra at the end.

I have it all planned out of Galveston.....

  • Take the 4 night on the Ecstasy leaving on Thursday - returning on Monday
  • Then take the 5 night Ecstasy leaving on Monday returning on Saturday.
  • Have an overnight in Galveston
  • Return to the port on Sunday and take the 7 night on the Conquest.

Technically not a B2B2B since you have the one night stay - but I'd take it any day of the week.... or should I say WEEKS :D .
