Which one should we go to for relaxation? - Accra or Mullins?
Six of one / half dozen of the other!

Mullins is quite aways up the West Coast

and chances are the water will be less surfy than Accra/Rockley.

Depends on how comfortable you feel being far away from that ship

when 3:30 rolls around! :)

Accra is a lot closer to the Port

and is seriously glam-pretty, just see my pics accessed via

http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/scenes.html

which offers links to both sites...Accra and Mullins!

You be the judge.

If you're younger, Accra is it.

Older, more mature?...Mullins may be more to your liking.

There's more to do nearby, in the Accra area...fast food right across the road

as is Quayside Mall and the surfy shop..some shopping...

aplmac, I have really appreciated all the great info you have provided on these boards. We have narrowed our beach choice to either Mullins or Accra. The wife is looking for a beautiful sandy beach, the kids want a beach where they can play in the sand, jump in the waves and do some snorkeling, and I'm interested in getting away from the crowds, doing a bit more snorkeling, and drinking a few beers on the beach. Is the snorkeling much better at Mullins to warrant the longer trip? The beach bar at Mullins looks pretty spendy. It sounds like catching the bus to Mullins from the port might be pretty easy, but how long of a trip might that be vs taking a taxi up there? Thanks again, and looking forward to our visit to your beautiful island.
