What about a butler?

It's just about time to leave on the Mercury, and I'd like some last minute tips on the butler that will be attending to us. Specifically, what does he do that my room attendant doesn't? I'd especially like to hear from anyone recently in the 1200 series Sky Suite rooms.

In a nutshell, the butler is there to meet your personal needs... the room steward is there to meet the needs of your cabin. If YOU need something, call the bulter. If your CABIN needs something, call the steward. For example... call the bulter for room service, call the steward for more towels.

Hope this helps.

I see you are on our sailing. You can still join our roll call, sign up for the "Connections" party, and join us at sail-a-way from Sydney. Look for the December 23, 2007 cruise on the "Roll Call" board. :)
