Aplmac Posted December 24, 2007 #6 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Looks like Van Gogh might need her injectors cleaned - she is putting out a lot of smoke and particulates. Too many of them that visit Barbados are like that.. stinky-smoking their way upwind, into Bridgetown Port! Many mornings when I'm down there at the Port I fantasize about a day when there will be zero emissions and my pics thus that much clearer! Wish me luck, okay? Have a look at my website re. Cruise Ships visiting Barbados at http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/btown.html and I'm sure you'll come across quite a few smokers, although I do my best to choose pics that show as little smoke as possible. Somehow, Carnival Destiny seems to be one of the worst offenders! editor@cruisecritic Posted January 4, 2008 #9 Share Posted January 4, 2008 Alan, have you heard anything? It's all oddly quiet -- of course if the ship really arrived on time and is setting out again on time today -- maybe people are just really busy! Let me know if you hear anything....
