BitsnBearsmom Posted December 24, 2007 #1 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Will the water be warm enough/comfortable for swimming at the beginning of March?? We are looking at doing a sail and turtles swim (dh, myself, 13yo ds and 8yo ds) but having never been out of Canada at that time of year we are a bit unsure of things. We have snow here in March and lots of it so it's hard to understand how warm it will be in barbado's!
Sunniebgi Posted December 24, 2007 #2 Share Posted December 24, 2007 no question is ever silly... For us locals, the water temp might be a little on the cool side.. but for you northerners you might find it like some bath water.. It maybe cool, but you will get used to it. have a great time. Aplmac Posted December 24, 2007 #3 Share Posted December 24, 2007 Will the water be warm enough/comfortable for swimming at the beginning of March?? - having never been out of Canada at that time of year we are a bit unsure of things. You're going to be laughing at yourself:)when you go in.. and back in - and back in and can't call the kids out long enough to get them dry and into the car here's a picture of pure liguid turquoise for you.. and a pleasant West Coast beach scene! I'm pretty sure the ocean temperature never gets below about 70 degrees Farenheit, here and that would be around December/January! Stop worrying: dig out the bikini, instead! __________________________________ Take a coastal cruise on Harbour Master when you get here! Great way to spend a day and see lots of the island from Out There. See my island pics at http://www.angelfire.com/wizard2/cncisland/bigships/scenes.html Yes, it's as warm as it looks!
