Anyone visit Sheraton or Wyndham lately?

I kind of got in on this late and want to make sure I understand the logistics

 

You can purchase one bracelet for 15.00 that is good at the Wyndham or the Sheraton on Cable Beach in Nassau?

 

What would be the approximate cab fare, not sure I'm adventurous enough for taking public transportation.

 

We are just looking for a nice beach/pool to spend a relaxing afternoon.

The taxi driver told us it was $10 to Cable beach. We took the jitney so I am not certain. The bracelet is good for both resorts, Wyndham and Sheraton on Cable Beach. You just need to purchase it at the Wyndham. The pool and beach is very relaxing.

Both places sound fantastic! Going in April with my DH for a quick weekend getaway on his birthday. He will love the fact that we can go, buy a pass, and be at a clean beach. Then while I am laying out by the pool reading a book, he can take a break from the sun and go in to the casino.

 

Sure beats walking around the straw market for the hundredth time!

Thanks to everyone for all the great info! I'm looking for a place to spend the day with my two children ages 2 yo and 5 yo. Are both hotels good options for families with small children. Also, approx how far are these hotels from the cruise dock in Nassau???

Both hotels are very kid friendly. The hotels are only about 3 miles from the cruise dock, or about 10 minute drive.

I am just off the Triumph and did make the Wyndham and Sheraton our choice places for the day. I am so glad that we did!!! It was an awesome day. We purchased our wristbands at the Sheraton. We paid $15 for adults and $7.50 for children. We had no problem getting towels at the Sheraton. We stayed on the little beach, which is more live a cove, at the Sheraton for a while, then moved to the Wyndham.

 

There are jetskis, snorkeling, bananna boats, etc available at the Wyndham. I did see yellow tube floaties at the towel station at the Sheraton but we did not get one. I am pretty sure they were available just like the towels to use for no charge.

 

There is a restaurant right at the Sheraton. It's a little pricey and the food is just okay. But hey, it's very convenient.

 

We really loved our day at both of these places!!
