Solstice in Summer 2009?

I am looking into cruising on the Solstice sometime during the summer of 2009. I noticed on the Celebrity website that the latest bookable Solstice cruise is April 12, 2009.

Does anybody know where the Solstice will be cruising during the summer of 2009? Will it stay in the Caribbean, shift to Europe, etc.? Any information is appreciated.

Hi,:) nothing has been given out to the public after that April date

(yet). Now there may be some folks "in the know" who have inside

information but nobody has posted anything on here.

The X website now has dates on there till 2010 but the only

cruises listed so far are Xpedition sailings.

So basically none of the schedules are out yet beyond

some of the spring '09.

The cruise year runs from April/May to March/April. Bookings for 2009 cruise year (April/May 2009 to March/April 2010) sometime between May and July depending on ship and itinerary.

Hi Karen, hope hubby is enjoying retirement:) did you have

a good cruise??? It was a b2b, right?

Happy New Year to both of you:)

Hi Lois -

The cruise was fantastic. We saw and did so many things - we were at St. Peter's and had a papal audience and we visited a mosque in Turkey and met with an Iman. We rode a camel in Lanzorate and walked on a volcano crater. We saw old sites such as the walled city of Dubrovnik with its white marble streets, the ruins of Athens, Pompeii, Ephesus. And the cruiseline has a special lunch for the B2B-ers (there were 387 doing the back to back) in the dining room at the end of the first cruise. It was a luncheon not to be missed - as good as the Olympic. We didn't feel rushed at all - but the 28 days went quickly.

Hubby is just starting to realize he is retired. We left 6 days after he retired, and came home just before Christmas, so it seemed like he was on a long vacation. However, he did love filling out the forms with "retired" for occupation.

Hope you have a happy and healthy new year and enjoy your cruise in March.

Karen
