I know some of the Princess ships have Cingular/ATT at Sea. Do the RCCL ships have this? has anyone used it. I am trying to find an easy way to check in at home a couple of times during the week.

We have always had Cingular/AT&T. We use it all the time to check in at home. We have free roaming in the US and the US territories so we have paid nothing while calling from Puerto Rico and St. Thomas. The At Sea roaming fee usually runs about $2.50 per min while in other ports in the Caribbean. Our calls are usually short, just enough to make sure kids, parents and pets are well. We do keep our phones turned off unless we are actually making a call. There have been some odd reports of roaming fees for the i phone/blackberry types linking to the satellite while the phone was not in use.
