Car Parking Southampton

Recommended Posts

If you have booked a package in the UK with NCL directly, or with an agent, you can car parking free of charge. If you haven't requested it at the time of booking, you may be charged an admin fee, but even so, this will be cheaper than paying for parking.

As for the terminal, from my experience, NCL usually get the QEII terminal.

Going on NCL Jade in August. Does anyone know which terminal which ships sail from and also of any reputable car parking frims?

Thanks.

Usually you would be able to use this link to see the expected terminal - but for some reason its currently only showing a couple of days (usually see 3-6 months +)

Bookmark it, and have a look later on.

The only parking at Southampton I have heard of (other than using hotels) - (and thats not to say it IS the only firm!) is Cruise and Passenger Services. http://www.candps.com/

Also Have a look at http://www.visit-southampton.co.uk/site/cruise-passenger-and-crew-information/cruise-and-airport-parking

Hope this helps

CPS pretty much have a monopoly of car-parking at Southampton cruise terminals. Having said that, I think they're pretty good; the arrival car-parks are close to the terminal, and when you return they'll have an office open near the terminal where they'll tell you where you can find you car. (They move them while you're away, for all but the very shortest cruises.)

One other thing: you might want to check & confirm that you've got free car-parking as part of your cruise-price. Sometimes it's included, sometimes it isn't. P&O for example tend to include it for very early bookings and not include it for later bookings. This is a way for them to effectively offer discounts (for some passengers at least) without actually reducing the price of the cruise itself. So check that you've got it. If you have, you'll probably need to contact CPS and make the actual booking, and after that they'll send you a confirmation with instructions.

Parking at Southamton is either at the port with valet service or use a hotel with parking.(C&PS do most, there is another company used by some lines)

The port option is worth the extra cost over all the other options for parking only around the area. you can get off the ship and away very quickly, if you park elsewhere you will have a wait for a TAXI usualy long lines.

As others have said booking this early you should have parking included if booked through the UK TA should make no difference it is an NCL promotion.

If you have booked UK then consider US booking next time NCL is much cheaper booked through the US
