Drink Prices on the "Holiday"

I am trying to figure out a budget for our time on the ship for how much I can allow for drinking. I know this will add up real fast and I don't want to get stuck with hundreds of dollars when the time comes to pay at the end.

 

Does anyone know how much drinks are on the "Holiday". We would be primarily looking for prices for drinks like Bud Light, margaritas and tequila sunrises.

 

I was told that drinks are about $8 a piece. I thought that was a little steep. Maybe someone can tell me from experience.

Most beers 4.50 + 15% gratuity, mixed drinks are from 4.50 to about 6.95 for the drink of the day + the 15%

When you say + gratuities . . . Does that mean you do tip the bartender or server when you get the drink or is that price included in the tips per day per person that you pay at the end of the cruise?

The 15% gratuity is figured and then included in the amount charged to your sail and sign card at the time you purchase your drink.

The bartendars and waiters will automatically add the 15% to EACH drink you order and this doesn't fall under the automatic tips.

That is correct...just sign the ticket and it will go on the S&S card

Yep... that's pretty much the case. The bartender won't tell you the price of the drink, just hand you the receipt to sign.

I don't think you can remove the tips from the drinks. When you get the slip to sign, it has the 15% already added in and you sign for the total price.
