Irons

Hi all...We're leaving for our first cruise in 16 days for our honeymoon. I'm needing to know if there are irons in the rooms?

No there are no irons in the rooms or are you allowed to bring one onboard as they are considered a fire hazard. Ships that have laundry rooms will have irons there or you can send your clothes out for pressing which is what we do. It is not very expensive. As an alternative, you can bring a travel steamer or the Downy wrinkle release spray works ok for some fabrics.:)

Personal own irons are not allowed due to the amount of electricity they use and are considered a fire hazard. But you are allowed to bring a portable garment steamer.

The Spirit does not have a laundry room. I've never sent anything out to be ironed, so I don't know what it costs. I would suggest a steamer.

Err..that's what I thought the irons. I guess I'll have to run and buy something else now.
