Carnival Valor, Cabin 7202, Partially Obstructed

I had a great conversation with the CSR when we were booking our cabin for the March 23-30 Eastern Caribbean cruise on the Carnival Valor out of Miami. He suggested Cabin 7202, which he told us was classified as partially obstructed due to the small walkway outside. It seems there is little traffic there and it ends up becoming a nice balcony shared by a small number of cabins there. 7202 faces forward.

Has anyone stayed in 7202 or one of the cabins at the front end of the Empress Deck. We'd love to know more and pics would be even better. P.S. What's directly above 7202? It shows as blank on the deck plans.

Many Thanks!

Friends of ours had 7206 (handicapped cabin) on the Liberty. SIster ship of the Valor.

WHen you look out your window you will see a wall.

This is NOT a small walkway. It is a public deck and anyone can go out there. Not many people know its there though. There is a bench-- no lounge chairs.

once out there though you can view coming into or leaving port with no problem. You will have to stand at the railing/

(there is a crew only deck in the picture)

The bridge is on the two decks above you. You wont hear nothing from this area.
