I will be on the Costa Victoria for this June 2008 cruise from Kiel up the coast of Norway to North Cape and all the way north to Spitzbergen. In 2007 the same cruise was offered on the Costa Classica and in 2006 by the Costa Atlantica. If anyone sailed on one of these cruises I would like to know what weather to expect in the far north and what outerwear would be appropriate to bring. The Costa site doesn't say anything about excursions ashore for the two days we'll be at the island (Magdalenefiord, Ny Alesund, and Longyearbyen). Any experiences you can relate? Thanks.:confused:
