Enchantment Western Carib Time and Excursions

Recommended Posts

We will be taking our 1st cruise in February stopping in Belize, Cozumel, and Key West. How exactly does the process work in getting off the ship for excursions or just to look around? Is there a process to who gets off 1st or is it just the number you are in line?

We will be meeting friends in Belize (they live there) and wondered how long it would take to get off the boat and into Belize if the ship is to be there at 7 am? Also does Enchantment use ship or local time there??

We also have an independent excursion arranged in one port and one ship excursion in another. If we take a ship excursion and want to look around port before the excursion starts can we do that??

Please help with any info you have!! Thanks!!!:)

We did this same itinerary last August and doing it again this August.

In Key West, its very easy.. lots to do where you dock. We just walked around. We never needed to be first off so we just walked down one flight of stairs and off.. then back on was pretty easy!

In Cozumel, same thing.. we got off pretty easy and hopped a cab to Paradise Beach.

Belize is a tender in.... That took a bit of time to get off but not that long

Generally, those who book early excursions through the ship will be on the 1st tender. That doesn't mean there won't be room for you! The tenders are quite large!

If the ship docks at 7am, then you should be off by 8am, easy. Don't worry about what time it is on any given island--you need to pay attention to the ship's time--if you don't, you risk missing the ship! No matter WHAT time it is anywhere else---STAY ON SHIP'S TIME!!!!!!! Your tour guide will know what time to be there for you--so if the excursion starts at 1pm., be there at 1pm SHIP'S TIME!!!!
