Need help in Bayonne

We will be arriving a day early for an NE/Can. cruise. Have no idea where to stay or how to secure transportation to port the next day. Any help would be appreciated.

Are you flying to Newark? You could stay at an airport hotel, then take a taxi or an RCI shuttle to the port the next day. According to RCI's web site, they charge $25/pp each way for the Newark Airport to port transfer.

If you go to the North American Homeport forum on this site and then scroll to East Coast Departures there is all sorts of info on Bayonne area. Just do a search in that site.

Out TA just quoted us a price of $117 pp to stay at the Hilton Newark Penn Station for the night before the cruise, Oct 16. This would include transport from the airport and to the ship the next day, the 17th. We think this sounds pretty good.

 

Don't know your cruise line, but maybe they have something.

I cannot find shuttle/transfer info anywhere on RCI's website :confused:. Can you provide a link(s)?
