Fortuna Boys & Girls Drink Booklet

Fortuna cruisers: Were you able to buy Boys and Girls drink booklets from bartenders and waiters when you got on board in Ft. Lauderdale?

On the Med, I ordered it through the Costa special services site and didn't receive the actual booklets until we were at dinner the first night. I did notice that the bar servers were selling them on the Lido as soon as we got on board. We'd like to get it earlier if possible, so my boys can have a fruity drink before dinner.

All of the servers and bartenders at the buffet (Upon embarkment) will be walking around with "kids club" drink tickets with the very yellow :) smiley face on them for sale as soon as you board. Personally I think that they are ONLY a good deal for the frozen fruity drinks; otherwise sodas are less expensive purchased separately. To note: the kids drink coupons CAN BE SHARED. This is not an "unlimited" type soda card on other lines; there are tear off tickets that can be used by multiple folks (you'd have to average 3 fruity/frozen drinks a day to make the kids card pay out.)

Good luck trying to use, during our 7 day cruise a bar waiter came twice during dinner. Also when used at the bars the servers rolled thier eyes when I pulled out the book.

I felt real stupid trying to use the coupons....

You can buy it at every bar once you are aboard. I bought one for me for our two weeks cruise and enjoyed some non-alcoholic cocktails with it ;) If it´s just aboout soda for your kids it might be easier to bring at least a few bottles with you...
