Does anyone have accurate information on the damage sustained in Georgetown from Ivan?

We will be sailing in February 2005. There have been conflicting reports on several threads.

Any updates would be appreciated.

Cayman Islans depend on tourist dollars. They will rebuild VERY quickly. FOr your Feb cruise I dont think you need to worry.

I'm going in November and wonder if 58 days is enough time? We've been several time, and once after a smaller hurricane than Ivan (don't remember the name) and the Turtle Farm was destroyed. That's when they moved across the street.
The damager is so much more than that year. Well another day at sea is OK with me.

How long will it take to rebuild? going in December.
Was thinking of doing a catamaran stringray tour.

The US is telling people not to go at the moment. i don't think you are going there this Friday.
