Voyager Master Suites

We were in 700 for a Med cruise and every time we had to tender in to port the anchor would wake us quite early in the morning. The anchor is right on the side of the suite and the chain makes a lot of noise when they lower the anchor. The suite was wonderful, but we were on a trip that anchored out alot so sleeping in was not possible.

We met a couple staying in 700. To our eyes the suite looked fabulous. The only negative comment from the occupants was that they could not really see forward--the balcony is on the side, but has no view to the front. The balcony is large and long, with an outdoor table and chairs at one end. We were docked mostlly on that trip.

We are considering booking suite 700 or 701 on the Voyager this fall. Does anyone have any experience with either of these suites. Any comments or photos would be welcome.

We were in Voyager suite 700 Oct. 2004, and highly recommend it. We did hear the anchor, but it was not a problem for us. We were on our honeymoon so it was just the two of us, the reality is the second bedroom was only used to store our empty luggage, so the next suite level lower would have been plenty. Personally I would go for the cabin where you will see the scenery on the land, depending which direction you are sailing.
