AVdreamweavers Posted January 22, 2008 #1 Share Posted January 22, 2008 We are taking our granddaughter on a RCI cruise with us. She will be turning 15 two weeks before we leave. How strict is RCI on the age classifications for the youth groups onboard? We would want her in the grouping for 14 yr. olds, not 15 yr. olds. Will we have a problem making this request. Otherwise, she will not be allowed to participate (she's "young" for her age).
DonnaK Posted January 22, 2008 #2 Share Posted January 22, 2008 If your request is reasonable, they do their best to accomodate you, especially if you wish to move a child "down" rather than "up". Ask politely, and see what they say.

I agree with Donna, if you were requesting that she be included in an older group they probably would say no. ###

The 15-17 age group do get Fuel until 1am and the 12-14's aren't allowed in after either 10 or 11, I forget exactly what time.
AVdreamweavers Posted January 22, 2008 Author #5 Share Posted January 22, 2008 Thank you for replying so quickly, but I was hoping we could find out prior to the cruise. If it is only "iffy", we don't want to tell her about the youth groups (she's never cruised before). Thanks, Kathie
