Long Island Airport.

Southwest no longer flys into LGA, now Long Island. How to get from there to downtown Manhatten on a Friday evening?

Long Island's McArthur airport is about 50 miles from NYC. The best way is a bus(or taxi) to the LIRR and the LIRR to Penn Station...figure about 2 hours each way.

one more point the traffic on a Friday both ways on Long Island is terrible. You are better off in the train than a car service as it can take forever.
